Our take
I recommend Homewood Suites by Hilton Irving-DFW Airport for longer stays near DFW Airport: some rooms include a kitchen, breakfast and parking are free, and the free airport shuttle removes the stress of an early flight. An indoor pool and a fitness centre keep everyone busy, and pets are welcome. It is an airport hotel, not a sightseeing base, but a score of 8.6 from 728 reviews shows it does that job well.
- Take advantage of the free airport shuttle for stress-free transfers to and from DFW.
- If you're staying for more than a few nights, consider booking a room with a kitchen for added convenience.
- Enjoy the complimentary breakfast to fuel up before your travels or a day of activities.
