Our take
I would book Candlewood Suites DFW Airport North for a stay of several nights around DFW, when a kitchen in every room, the airport shuttle and free parking matter more than on-site dining. The pool and fitness center are useful extras. The 7.4 rating across 314 reviews is the weak point, so travellers staying one night may prefer a higher-rated hotel on this page.
- Utilize the airport shuttle for stress-free transfers to and from DFW.
- Take advantage of the in-room kitchen to prepare meals and save on dining out.
- Walk to Bistro C Bar & Restaurant for a convenient meal, just 7 minutes away.
Why we love it

- Free parking on site
- Pet-friendly accommodations
Why guests love itCandlewood Suites DFW Airport North suits a family on a longer stay, in my view, because every room has a kitchen for simple meals with children. The pool gives kids a break, the property is accessible and pet-friendly, and parking is free. The airport shuttle helps with an early flight from DFW, and a restaurant is seven minutes away on foot. The 7.4 rating across 314 reviews is modest, so I would expect simple comfort.
