Our take
I would choose Life Hotel New York for individually decorated rooms in a historic publishing house, a more distinctive option than a chain tower. Free Wi-Fi, a restaurant, a bar, a fitness center and business facilities cover most needs, and parking and pets are available. The boutique format means rooms vary, so if you need a predictable standard layout, ask about the room type before booking.
- Explore the hotel's history; the building has a rich past worth discovering.
- Take advantage of the on-site restaurant and bar for convenient dining and drinks.
- If you're traveling with a pet, confirm the pet policy and any associated fees when booking.

Why guests love itLife Hotel New York occupies a historic publishing house, and its individually decorated rooms feel more characterful than a standard chain hotel. Free Wi-Fi is included, a restaurant, a bar, a fitness center and business facilities are on site, and parking and pets are both available. It suits couples and business travelers best, with families welcome too. Guests rate it 8.6 across nearly 970 reviews, a strong score, so I would book it for the building and the character.
