Our take
I recommend it to travelers who want to be close to Times Square with upscale touches: a rooftop bar with city views, terrace dining, a restaurant and a fitness center. It welcomes families and pets, and parking is on site. A 7.0 rating across more than 6,600 reviews is average for the area, so expectations should stay realistic. Guests who want a quieter, residential side of New York should look at another neighborhood.
- Head to the rooftop bar in the evening for impressive city views and a relaxed atmosphere.
- If you're traveling with a pet, confirm the specific policies and any associated fees when booking.
- Consider using public transport to explore, as the hotel is well-connected to major attractions.

Why guests love itA rooftop bar with city views is the signature of this contemporary DoubleTree near Times Square, though for families I would point first to the terrace dining and the on-site restaurant, which make meals easy after a long day. The fitness center suits early risers, pets are welcome and parking is available. The 7.0 rating across more than 6,600 reviews suggests a mixed but busy stay, so expect energy rather than calm.
