Our take
I would choose Ciao Papa Hotel Amsterdam Central Station for modern, comfortable rooms with air conditioning and free WiFi, a short walk from Amsterdam Centraal. A restaurant is on site, and local dining options are easy to reach. An 8.6 rating across 375 reviews is good, though the sample is smaller than at the large hotels nearby. The offer is simple, so it suits a short stay rather than a long, service-heavy one.

- Check out the on-site restaurant for a convenient meal after a day of sightseeing.
- Explore the immediate neighbourhood for diverse dining options, including the nearby halal grill.
