Our take
I would consider Avenue Hotel for its practical offer near Amsterdam Centraal: unfussy air-conditioned rooms, complimentary breakfast, a restaurant, a casual lounge and parking. It is family-friendly. A 7.2 rating across 1,637 reviews is modest, so I would book it for the included breakfast, the parking and the position rather than for finish. If you want a refined or boutique stay, compare it with higher-rated hotels nearby.
