Our take
I would choose Maritim Hotel München for its rooftop pool, two restaurants and piano bar, with warm rooms and suites near Munich Central Station. A fitness centre and parking are available, and pets and families are welcome, so the hotel suits both business and family stays. An 8.0 rating across 2,960 reviews is good and based on a very large sample. It is a larger, traditional hotel, so expect full service rather than an intimate boutique feel.
- Consider using public transport to Marienplatz, it's only a 4-minute ride from the hotel.
- If you're traveling with a pet, take advantage of the pet-friendly policy for a hassle-free stay.
- Explore the two on-site restaurants for convenient dining options after a day of sightseeing.
