Our take
OKKO Hotels Paris Gare de l'Est could hardly be more convenient for trains from Gare de l'Est, since it sits within the station itself. Rooms are chic, there is a restaurant, a bar with a happy hour, breakfast, a spa and a fitness centre, plus laundry service. Pets are welcome. A score of 8.8 from 1,240 reviews confirms its quality. I would book it for an early departure or late arrival; it is a modern hotel rather than a Parisian classic.
- Take advantage of the happy hour for a relaxing end to your day.
- If travelling with a pet, confirm arrangements directly with the hotel beforehand.
- Utilise the fitness centre and spa to unwind after a day of travel or sightseeing.
